Job Description
1. Incumbent will be the custodian of Jewellery design collections.
2.Adherence to the Jewelry design calendar, design briefs and New Product introduction requirements
3. Creative direction to the Jewelry design team
4. Introduce breakthrough and trend setting collections
5. Forecasting trends in Jewelry design
6. Consumer / Competitor / Trend understanding, analysis and translation to design
7. Leading a Team of 10 designers
8. Close interaction with Merchandising & Marketing Department & Manufacturing & rest of the Jewellery Creative and 3D CAD Design Team.

Desired Candidate Responsibilities Profile
A) Graduate in design from a premier institute with not less than 5-6 years work experience in designs.
B) Keen understanding of Jewellery Design trends: Ability to respond to new trends and develop creative and commercial range of jewellery that is in line with Italian jewelry identity.
C Ability to forecast, (design and fashion trends, future needs an opportunities and generate solutions and ideas that help growth the business.
D) Have exposure to all regional trends / preferences in jewelry design especially in South India.
E) Have a good understanding of business and ability to relate and respond to market and business realties F)Ability to relate to and understand manufacturing processes so as to develop designs that are creative and viable.
G) Excellent team player and ability to provide leadership and direction to a team of designers with diverse background.
H) Strong commercial acumen.
I) Good Communication and interpersonal skills.
J) Fluency in Hindi / Gujarati / Bengali along with English is also desired
K)Able to motivate and lead a team of 10 Jewellery Designers
